"Waiting On" Wednesday (3)

Another Wednesday comes around!! This spectacular weekly meme was started by Jill over at Breaking the Spine. Anyone can participate. Basically, all you have to do is choose a book that's coming out in the next few months that you're uber excited about! So...I've been doing my research...and here's what I found.

Cassia has always trusted the Society to make the right choices for her: what to read, what to watch, what to believe. So when Xander's face appears on-screen at her Matching ceremony, Cassia knows with complete certainty that he is her ideal mate . . . until she sees Ky Markham's face flash for an instant before the screen fades to black.

The Society tells her it's a glitch, a rare malfunction, and that she should focus on the happy life she's destined to lead with Xander. The summary reminds me of the Uglies series by Scott Westerfield, which I enjoyed. So...this one looks to me like it could either be really good, or it could be AMAZING! So far on the reviews they've posted on bn.com, (the reviewers with advance copies...?), people really like it a lot. I guess we'll just have to see... I love the cover though. It portrays very well the idea of living trapped and totally controlled. Living in a bubble!
